Welcome to my blog. After writing some best-selling cookbooks for the print media, I have diversified and now write e-cookbooks as well. Check out my cookbook on iTunes App Store. It’s called Eat Rich Quick, the Cheater’s Guide to Cooking Well.
The recipes in ERQ all live up to their name—with the exception of one or two, no recipe takes more than 30 minutes to prepare. Through the short cuts I’ve devised, you can have a dish ready faster than it takes for food delivery to arrive. Some of the recipes you’ll want to try are: udon noodles in a delicious, soothing broth; a tangy rice salad that makes a perfect side dish to roast meat or as a meal in itself; a thick and creamy hot chocolate drink; and a rich bean stew with Spanish sausage. You’ll also learn how to give store-bought apple pie a just-out-of-the-oven look, how to enhance a simple chocolate cake so it looks very upscale, and what to do with that fruit cake you’ve been keeping in your freezer so it gets eaten and not thrown away.
The mouthwatering photos that accompany the recipes are faithful reproductions of the dish—so you can see exactly how the dish is supposed to look like. Just tap on the small photo on the side to get a larger view of it.
In addition, the ingredients are listed in dual measurements, so you can use whichever system (metric or English) you’re comfortable with. I’ve also put a market list to guide you in the grocery store as well as tips that give helpful information.
I’ve kitchen-tested all the recipes personally and have served them to friends and family—all of whom have expressed lip-smacking approval.
This set of 14 recipes is just the first of an ongoing Eat Rich Quick series. I have so much more to share with you. Check this blog for future announcements. Meanwhile all you busy and not-so-busy people out there, if you’re looking for short cuts to great cooking, ERQ is the site for you.
